Back to School!!!

It is already that time of year, and again I find myself wondering where did the time go??? Ethan and Rhys are not quite ready for school to start, but I think they will warm to the idea. This is Rhys' last year in the Primary school, and Ethan changes classes for two subjects!! Lucy is in for some schooling too; with the boys gone she is going to start working!! I hate to see them go, but it is amazing how fast 7 hours can fly by!

Rhys & Ms. Klein. This teacher is tech savy! Not only does she have a class blog, but she also has a FB page for the class so parents can keep up with what they are doing!!!

Jack & Elise Visit P-Ville

Recently Jack and Elise came to stay with us for the weekend. It was fun having them all together. I love my cousins so much, and they are such a big part of my life. So I am very happy when my kids get to hang with their cousins.
On a side note, I took the oldest 4 to TX Jumping Bean and let them play for hours. I asked Ethan and Rhys to keep an eye on Jack & Elise. At one point Elise was running around with another girl. This girl kept calling Elise "little girl". Well Rhys went over and told the girl, "Her name is not little girl, it is Elise!" Elise and Lucy better watch out who they bring home!!

Hat tip to Mrs. W, having 5 kids is no laughing matter. Now I remember why drive through windows are so awesome!!

Oma (aka Debbie) Has a Birthday

For my Mom's birthday we took her out to dinner, and only us ladies were invited! We had so much fun, and it was definitely a treat to be able to enjoy a fabulous meal in each others' company. It is a memory we will all cherish for a long time!

Swim Team Wrap Up

The Piranhas held a fantastic bash to wrap up the swim season. They handed out trophies, awards & cake. Then they all headed to the pool to have a good time! I have to give a shout out to my man Ethan, because he was received the "Coaches' Choice" award for his age group. He was so surprised that it took him a minute to realize that they had called his name!! It was an awesome way to end the season! Goodbye 5:30 am meets!! :)

Trip to the Candy Shop!

I learn a lot about Austin from some of the blogs I read, and recently one pointed me in the direction of "Big Top Candy"! It happens to be located across from one of our favorite pizza places, so we put the kids in the car and headed downtown!
