My friend Brenda died unexpectedly this month. And while celebrating her life, I decided to make a few changes in mine. One of those things being that I am going to appear on this blog more often. While watching a photo collage of Brenda's life, I realized that I never allow myself to be photographed & probably wouldn't have enough pictures to make a collage of myself! Well that is over. Red face, chubby, pimples, bad hair is what makes me Kelley & yall seem to like me just the way I am. So I am going to try and get over it, and put myself in front of the camera more often. Brenda always told people, "In case I forget to tell you, I had a great time." That is what this blog is going to do, celebrate all parts of my life the good & the not so good. Because living means that good & bad stuff happens, but at the end of the day we are all still together and that is what really matters. You wouldn't really like a Kelley whose life is perfect anyway! :)

Back from Sabbatical....
Whatever that means! That should say, "Back from being plain lazy," but I figure it is my blog & I get to title things the way I want. I feel bad that Lucy has been stuck in the pumpkin patch for 6 months!! However instead of publicly caning myself, I am just going to get down to business.
