Disney World, Day 1...Magic Kingdom

We went to Disney World for a week, and we stayed on property at the Wilderness Resort. It is based on the lodge that is at Yellowstone. This place was fantastic! It has a fire place that has every layer of rock that the Grand Canyon has! Of course the hotel wouldn't be complete without it's very own geyser. Disney misses nothing. Our hotel was on the lake, and we were able to take a boat to the Magic Kingdom. The boys loved riding the boat, and I have to admit it was way cooler than the bus.
The first day we headed for the Magic Kingdom. They had the place decorated to the hilt for Halloween. It was AWESOME!! We took a break in the afternoon, and then went back for the light parade and the fireworks. I thought all firework shows were created equal, but this show knocked my boots off. It was fantastic, and if I had a better camera I would have the pics to prove it! So here are all the pics from our first day.

Va-Cay!

Hello Faithful Readers! Last week the Forbes crew, minus Lucy, went and had a blast at Walt Disney World. We had a great time, and I have some awesome pictures to share. But you are going to have to wait until tomorrow, because I am beat!! Back to the real world, sigh.

Are you looking for that certain shade of lipstick? Can't find what you are looking for? Then take my advice, and try eating your brother's picture that he drew with marker on black construction paper. It really gives a girl that extra oomph!

Slacker

It has been a long time since my last post. Why you ask? Not because of PTO, children, homework, volunteering, trying to mail out Madden's really late b-day card, flag football or anything else. It is because of knitting. Yes knitting. I am taking a class with the lovely Sandina. My fist project was a baby scarf. While I completed this masterpiece, Sandy managed to knit 3 hats & 3 scarves. I hate over achievers, don't your? Don't be surprised if you get something warm and fuzzy for Christmas. Of course at this rate I should have started last January!

Gymboree

The Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas is a very cool organization. Twice a year they provide classes for people with Down Syndrome, adults to babies. So for free of charge, Lucy is able to attend Gymboree. Our first class was last week, and we were the only ones there. But she had a blast! I love that she is so adventurous, and that she is able to do so many things. Check it out...

EJ's B-day: Lunch with the Ladies

On Sept. 23 Elise turned 3, and we ladies got together for a celebratory lunch. It was so much fun, and I have the pictures to prove it!
