Last Day!

For the last day we journeyed back to the Kingdom.

Rhys' dream came true when Captain Jack appeared! And luckily he was decked out in his pirate shirt! He got chosen to do some pirate training. Rhys was over the moon!

Hollywood Studios

On the third day we ventured to Hollywood Studios. I got to say, Disney really knows it's stuff. Each park was so fantastic, and entertaining! This was probably the hottest & most humid days, so some of the pictures look kind of foggy. I'll let you imagine how humid it has to be for a camera lens to fog over! So without further ado, the Forbes at MGM!

First up, Tower of Terror. Rhys was not going to ride this, but changed his mind to prove a point. I gotta give it to the guy, it was kind of scary BUT he rode it...screaming all the way!

Boys got recruited by Andy's soldiers!

Met up with Darth for a photo op. Darth looks like he is going to bust out of that box, and wipe those smiles off of their faces!

At the Indiana Jones show one of us was chosen to be an extra. Do you recognize one of the Egyptians?

We ate lunch at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. The servers take their job really seriously! Jake didn't eat all of his lunch so "Uncle Mike" wouldn't let him have dessert. Unless he wanted to eat a Pot Pie Sundae!

Epcot

Second day we headed to Epcot...
Mission Space. This was the boys favorite ride!

I got to ride a Segway, and it was FUN!!!

The country tour in Epcot was made especially fun for the boys, because they were able to participate in Kim Possible challenges. They were given a cell phone, and had to find clues for their mystery in 7 of the countries. This was an excellent way to keep them interested!

Rhys was excited to be in France.

Japan was by far the coolest country. The store from Japan had genuine Pokemon stuff, so the boys were uber excited about that. We got to see Taiko drummers, and an awesome candy maker. She made Ethan a dragon lollipop.

In the America section we were lucky enough to find Minnie & Mickey!!

Mulan appeared in China right as we got there! For those of you who are unaware, Ethan & Rhys love Mulan so they were very excited to take a picture with her.

In Norway we bumped into a troll. The boys wanted to bring this guy home with us, but were informed that we are full up on trolls!

We ate in Germany of course! It was awesome! They created a German village inside a building, and whats more it was a German outdoor fest!! We got to sing some Fest songs, have the obligatory bier, and do the chicken dance. Surprisingly the food was amazing, the best in America besides Opa's! It was a great way to end the night.

Last but not least we rode Spaceship Earth, it is the ride in the big silver ball. In the beginning of the ride they snap a picture of you, and in the end they simulate a postcard of you in the future. It was pretty cool! Here is Jake & Ethan's:

Disney World, Day 1...Magic Kingdom

We went to Disney World for a week, and we stayed on property at the Wilderness Resort. It is based on the lodge that is at Yellowstone. This place was fantastic! It has a fire place that has every layer of rock that the Grand Canyon has! Of course the hotel wouldn't be complete without it's very own geyser. Disney misses nothing. Our hotel was on the lake, and we were able to take a boat to the Magic Kingdom. The boys loved riding the boat, and I have to admit it was way cooler than the bus.
The first day we headed for the Magic Kingdom. They had the place decorated to the hilt for Halloween. It was AWESOME!! We took a break in the afternoon, and then went back for the light parade and the fireworks. I thought all firework shows were created equal, but this show knocked my boots off. It was fantastic, and if I had a better camera I would have the pics to prove it! So here are all the pics from our first day.

Va-Cay!

Hello Faithful Readers! Last week the Forbes crew, minus Lucy, went and had a blast at Walt Disney World. We had a great time, and I have some awesome pictures to share. But you are going to have to wait until tomorrow, because I am beat!! Back to the real world, sigh.
